Parker Carriage Parade

Each year we have a Carriage Parade here in Parker. I've only gone a couple of times. This year we went to see Hannah march with the band. It's a unique parade. There are no floats, no giant balloons being handled by people, and no televised coverage. Last weekend the Legend Titan Marching Band marched in the "Parade of Lights" in Denver. Unfortunately, Hannah was too sick to go, so we had to watch it on TV. They got first place for Marching and Music. It was brutally cold, so I'm kind of glad we didn't have to go.
Today, however was a beautiful day. People were just in hoodies and the sun was nice. We met up with Amelia, Nate, Liam and Thatcher. It was really fun. There were horses pulling buggies, carriages, and wagons. There were a lot of stuffed teddy bears attached to the ponies, riding on the ponies or riding in the buggies. The band did a great job playing "Joy to the World" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". Here are some fun pictures!

There were lots of miniature ponies!

Go Hannah!
Next year we might have Lizzie and Hannah in the parade!
